Entering Kurtan canyon one appears in a wonderful world, where thick trees perfectly harmonize with huge rocks and over them proudly fly eagles. Dzoraget River flows below and gives energy to the canyon.
On the bank of the river is located Hnevank complex. This church differs in its style from traditional Armenian churches as it has Chalcedonies origins.
Dendropark of Stepanavan is also very beautiful, where during years trees all over the world have been gathered.
Medieval Lori Berd fortress dominates in the canyon.
