Near Dilijan city is located Jukhtak monastery and from here starts our walking tour. Thanks to its unique climate Dilijan is a very nice place to spend a vacation in all seasons of the year. The route passes through the woods and mountains. During the travel bushy trees will protect you from the hot sun, cool wind or rain. We could also meet some deer if lucky.

The last destination of the hike is Haghartsin monastery which is situated in the same named beautiful valley. After the fall of the Armenian kingdom, Haghartsin has been the residence of Catholicos for some time.
