Tour to Vayots Dzor. The tour begins from the Church of  St.Jacob at Vernashen village, where the museum of Gladzor University is located. We will climb up to Spitakavor Monastery along the beautiful canyon. The tomb of the great Armenian General Garegin Nzhdeh is in the Monastery area. The film  “Lone Walnut”  also was made there. Along the way you will see the old dwelling. From Spitakavor we will continue our route to Proshaberd, one of the strongest military bases of prince Prosh, which fortified walls and towers are the stone witnesses of many legends and histories. You will have a wonderful view of the Vayots Dzor from the height of Berd.
